Trajec3D Beta Version 1.4.0 now available for download

Updated: Dec 15, 2019

Trajec3D Beta Version 1.4.0 has two corrections, enhancements and new features. It is now possible to load files with 10x the number of vertices than before, a total of 649,980 vertices! This should be sufficient for nearly all cases, if vertice reductions are still required, use GEM4D as explained in the previous post.

The changes are:

  • New expiry date is 1 March 2013.

  • Loading of topographies that are 10x larger than before - now 649,980 vertices.

  • A chart grid was added, that expose the information shown on the graphs. This is available from the "Charts" toolbar under the "Grid" tab. The data can be copied to the clipboard by right clicking on the grid, and selecting "Copy to clipboard". This enable data transfer to Excel if required.

  • All the charts and the grid are now synced by default, you can thus toggle between the graphs and grid and look at the same information and selected data point.

  • The path mesh information between the fall body meshes and coloured cylinders contained slight inconsistencies. The coloured path cylinders now contain the information at the start of the cylinder to match the fall body meshes.

  • Making clipboard screenshots with the "Scene"-button (top toolbar) created errors on some systems and was fixed.

The next development will be to incorporate a second material property. This will probably be available early 2013, that is if we survive the end of the Mayan Calender on 21 December 2012 :) The new additions in Version 1.4.0 should address the majority of requests I received by e-mail, continue to keep me updated. Wish you all a happy festive season and prosperous 2013. Frans.
